RE: Need info on '08 Pilgrim 272PBH

What god iss yourdealers warranty if you are a 1000 miles away. My dealer bought some 5er's just before thy closed and he is selling a warranty with unit that is good anywhere that is included in price of unit, But yo still have to worry about Lippert's one year and most extended warrantys will not warranty the frame. Mine didn't

RE: Tagged Again

Hopefully all will stick together on this, I don't think one or two is enough to make a case.

For your info I have lawyer on it now. She will let me know if I have a case or not an I will keep it posted reguardless of out come. Big Daddy is looking at a class action and hopefully he can come up with enough that has had problems to go with it. What gets me is Lippert has a system for repair in the pin box hanger area but they wont do a recall. I found this out from my dealer as he has repaired a bunch in this area.

RE: Tagged Again

Mine is not quite that bad but would of if I had not noticed the pin box wearing into the front cover. Did Lippert help you out.
Notalot
That is pretty much what they told me also.Be sure and report it to N H T S A cause the more of us that do will get them on Lippert's case and maybe get your money back.

Bump
Big Daddy just wondering if you still plan going thro with your class action.
All will help with problem if you will go to N H T S A and fill out the forum, I understand you will get a response in short time. The more the better and looks like I am going to have to use my extended warranty for the repair.

RE: Tagged Again

tinrhunt
just found out today that they locked the doors. My dealer had to know about it for awhile as he loaded his lot with Open Road 5er's telling me he knew it was coming. When ask what he would give me on trade he threw it in my face they were no longer in buisness and would be hard to sell. wonder what kind of warranty he is going to give with the one's he has.

Tagged Again

My fine Lippert frame broke on the last trip. Took it back t dealer for repairs, he makes a call to Lippert and they will not do the repairs because Pilgram is out of buisness and has no one to charge it back to. Gonna cost me 1800.00 for the repairs or that is what I was told Lippert charges to do this repair. I understand they have done a lot of them but it is not there fault cause they build them to Pilgrams specs. Problem is the brackets that the pin box bolts to is breaking out of the main frame. Anyone wanna Open Road 32 ft 5er he he.

RE: I got my B&W hitch installed last week--Teflon Donut???

I have the B-W hitch and bought a disc. It would not latch up cause it was to thick. There are some out there that will work but I have not found it yet. Have seen them on the B-W so I know ther is one that will work. The one I bought has a rough texture to it and the One I seen that was working was smooth and a bit thinner. Anyone out there that has one on there B-W I would appreciate knowing where you got it. Sur keeps the unit much cleaner.

RE: Quality, brand name trailer tires

Just took a trip to Aklaska on Bridgestones Ribs 12000 miles with no trouble and they look real good as for wear. About 100.00 cheaper than Michlins.

Top Of The World

For all who are going to Ak and you have been told not to go to Dawson Via Top Of the World, don't believe it. The road is fine, the town is great ( dirt streets an board side walks) with a lot to see. There was a Indian Pow Wow going when we got there and was real nice. As for the road after you get off the ferry just take your time an enjoy the contry. Stop at Chicken (consits of 2 stores and a dredge) an do a litte panning. You will hit paved road a little past chicken on down to TOK. Go for it as it is truly the last frontier.

RE: Anchorage to Calgary in 6 nights

Sue t
We went from Seward to Tok and it was all day with no stops, also the road from Beaver creek to Destruction Bay is killer. I went Top of The World going in and came back via Beaver. The road to Top is much better. And yes I know how Chicken got its name.

RE: Anchorage to Calgary in 6 nights

Forget the mile post as there are no mile posts. You may see a place where it has milepost 100 or whatever on the front of the building but the posts are all gone. Saw a lot of places that were for sale or just closed down. We drove till we were beat up so bad by the rough roads and started looking for a place to camp. Would find a RV park about every 3rd nite. There prices are a bit high and not that good.

RE: Denali Bus Drivers Authorize Strike

The driver we had was great. He would turn the bus side ways in the road so to get better photos. He knew where the animals hang out an gave us plenty of time to get all the site seeing we wanted. If there are not being paid enough then I say go for the strike. Owners will not let it happen and as far as non union drivers better hope they know the road as it gets tricky in places. I got clear photos of both sides of Mt McKinley thanks to the driver knowing where to stop and let us off. Got the other side going to the park from the south. Clear day with no clouds. Thanks driver for a wonderful time.

RE: Sorry Canada

Now you think of this when I am about to leave. Takin poles an a few baits. just do a bit of lake fishin on the way up. Cuz got me covered when we get to Ak. He got all three, Lake boat, River Boat an Ocean Boat. He been there since 1970 and hopefully in his old age he remembers where they are. One day and a wake up an Im outa here. Will put RV.Net on back glass with shoe polish so you can toot your horn when you go buy.
